Report of the Duffus Commission of Inquiry into the Breakdown of Law & Order, and Police Brutality in Grenada

Part V

Paragraph 207. - 4. The Solicitor General

207. The Commissioners are of the view that Mr. Nolan Jacobs on his own evidence demonstrated a lack of knowledge of the duties of a law officer of the Crown and acted with gross impropriety at the hearing of the applications for bail on behalf of the Six persons charged before the Magistrates' Court on November 19, 1973. The Commissioners respectfully suggest that the Judicial and Legal Services Commission enquire into his conduct with the view to determining whether His Excellency the Governor General should be advised to remove him from his office as Solicitor General
